Miðfjarðará is responsible for handling information that the company collects about its visitors and will always have security and privacy as a guiding principle. Information collected by the company will not be used by third parties.

Miðfjarðará´s website uses Google Analytics to measure traffic on the website. Listed are items such as IP address of the hosts, from which website came, browser and operating system as well as time and date. No personally identifiable information is recorded when you visit the site, and the statistics are only used to further improve the site, e.g. by checking what content is popular on the web at any given time and how the website is visited.
If an individual enrolls in Miðfjarðará mailing list, the company will work with information about the customer’s address and after the occurrence of other information provided by the client, such as name, address and gender. This processing is based on customer approval, but it is permitted to withdraw the approval at any time and unsubscribe from the company’s mailing list.
The Miðfjarðará mailing list is used to send registered individuals news of the company’s business or educational content.
You have the right to access the personal information we may have about you. You may also in some cases be entitled to correct or delete information.

Our failure to act with respect to a breach by you or others shall not be considered as a waiver of our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
