Miðfjarðará’s Privacy Policy applies to data that may be collected through its web site or through other electronic communications. Miðfjarðará follows the Icelandic law no. 90/2018 on the protection of personal data and handling of personal data as well as the provisions of the European Union Privacy Policy, GDPR.

Miðfjarðará is responsible for handling information that the company collects about its visitors and will always have security and privacy as a guiding principle. Information collected by the company will not be used by third parties.

Miðfjarðará´s website uses Google Analytics to measure traffic on the website. No personally identifiable information is recorded when you visit the site, and the statistics are only used to further improve the site, e.g. by checking what content is popular on the web at any given time and how the website is visited.

Mailing list

If an individual enrolls in Miðfjarðará mailing list, the company will work with information about the customer’s address and after the occurrence of other information provided by the client, such as name, address and gender. This processing is based on customer approval, but it is permitted to withdraw the approval at any time and unsubscribe from the company’s mailing list.

The Miðfjarðará mailing list is used to send registered individuals news of the company’s business or educational content.

Your right

You have the right to access the personal information we may have about you. You may also in some cases be entitled to correct or delete information.

These terms sets out the entire understanding and agreement between you and us in relation to your purchase of products from us. No other person shall have any right to enforce these terms.
